Mailyn Santana, MD, DABPN​​​​

Dr. Mailyn Santana is a bilingual psychiatrist with triple board certifications, having completed a General Psychiatry Residency, Child & Adolescent Fellowship, and Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship. She also has specialized training in Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT). Dr. Santana actively engages in various levels of psychiatric care, including emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings, treating children-adolescents, adults, and patients needing substance treatment. Outside her primary practice, she works with complex cases involving children and adolescents in the foster care system, where she is dedicated to making a significant and positive impact on their care. Additionally, as a faculty member, she trains residents and fellows, contributing to the development of the next generation of psychiatric professionals.

Her experience spans consultation-liaison psychiatry, emergency services, inpatient psychiatry, and outpatient care, giving her a strong foundation in managing complex needs across different levels of acuity. She integrates developmental, family, and systems-based perspectives into individualized treatment planning.

Her clinical background includes emergency psychiatry, residential eating-disorder treatment, managed-care review, and outpatient community mental health. This experience helps her assess complex presentations, support higher-acuity needs, and create individualized treatment plans grounded in careful diagnostic assessment and thoughtful medication management.

Hosanna, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner who provides comprehensive, evidence-based psychiatric care across the lifespan. She treats a wide range of conditions, including mood and anxiety disorders, psychosis, ADHD, PTSD, and substance use disorders, with a focus on individualized treatment.

With a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and prior experience in the intensive care unit and operating room, Hosanna brings a strong medical foundation to psychiatric care. This background helps her integrate medical and mental health needs, recognize complex presentations, and support safe, coordinated treatment planning.

Under the supervision of Dr. Santana and Dr. Sanzo, Hosanna is known for her balanced, patient-centered approach and her ability to make complex clinical needs feel clear and manageable. With training across inpatient psychiatry, medical-surgical care, and outpatient mental health settings, Nylen Hernández, PMHNP-BC, provides comprehensive psychiatric care for adolescents and adults. She treats a broad range of conditions, including mood and anxiety disorders, psychosis, ADHD, PTSD, and substance use disorders, using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches.

Her clinical experience includes crisis evaluations, Baker Act assessments, detox protocols, and inpatient stabilization, giving her a strong understanding of how psychiatric symptoms evolve across settings and levels of acuity. This breadth allows her to recognize clinical patterns early and develop clear, well-coordinated treatment plans.

Silia “Susie” Batista is a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with extensive nursing experience in behavioral health, case management, chronic disease care, and integrated psychiatric treatment. She provides evidence-based psychiatric care across adult, child, and geriatric populations, with clinical experience in psychiatric evaluation, treatment planning, psychopharmacology, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy.

Her background includes outpatient psychiatry training with exposure to PTSD, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, depression, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders. She also brings longstanding experience managing complex populations with serious mental illness, co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions, HIV/AIDS, and psychosocial care needs.

Silia is bilingual in English and Spanish and is committed to delivering culturally competent, trauma-informed care for underserved communities. She is known for her collaborative approach, strong care-coordination skills, and ability to integrate behavioral, medical, and psychosocial needs into thoughtful, patient-centered treatment.
